The Eagle Scout Candidate Advisory Committee was
formed within Troop 44 for one simple reason, to be a
supportive, informative and focused group of adult
leaders who will be the trusted advisors to our Scouts
as they prepare for and complete the requirements and
paperwork for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
The Committee will act as the focal point for all
steps in his Eagle proposal, project and application
submission except for the final sign off from the
Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chairman and signatures
from the organization benefiting from the Eagle project.
The Committee is comprised of both Unit Committee
Members and Assistant Scoutmasters. The Committee
is chaired by an Assistant Scoutmaster and former
Scoutmaster.
With the guidance of this Committee, the goal is to
have a start to finish experience that provides for the
best possible proposal and application to Council.
The roles and processes of this Committee are still
developing as we generate a program that best works for
our Troop and our boys.
